prêmio pinóquio do desenvolvimento sustentável

resorce:

Welcome to the
"Prix Pinocchio du développement durable !"

The Sustainable development concept, as a “pattern of resource use, that aims to meet human needs while preserving the environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for generations to come” is now part of our everyday life thanks to the new trend for environmental protection, human rights protection and the need for a real international solidarity.

Yet, many players like some big and powerful French companies, have unfortunately hijacked that concept only for a cosmetic purpose. Some vibrant speech on Sustainable development is thus often used to hide the real impacts of these companies activities while improving their public image for their clients or shareholders.

In 2011, on the international level, no one ever contest the environmental and social urgency. Nevertheless, the big companies as important economical players have hardly progressed in terms of corporate social and environmental responsibility. It’s time to stop saying one thing and mean another. Who lies? Who is only green on the outside?

Help us restarting the debate so the corporate really assume their responsibilities!

Vote now!
